Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Bin Humaid Arrives in Pakistan on Four-day Visit

Pakistan welcomed Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid on Wednesday for a four-day visit that aims to “further strengthen the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia,” the state-run APP news agency said.

Sheikh Saleh, who is also a member of the Saudi Royal Court, has a distinguished career as a former leader of the Saudi Shoura Council and the High Judiciary Commission. He will hold talks with key figures, such as the President, Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff, and other senior officials.

Sheikh Salen, who was born in Buraydah, Saudi Arabia, memorized the Qur’an at age 20. He has a master's and a PhD degree from Umm Al Qurra University in Makkah and became an imam at the Masjid Al Haram in 1983.
