Sheikh Yusuf Salama, a prominent religious leader and former minister, was among the 18 people killed by Israeli attacks on the Maghazi Refugee Camp in Gaza. Sheikh Salama was known for his preaching at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, his role as the Secretary of the Higher Islamic Council in Jerusalem, and his founding of the Grand Maghazi Mosque.


His lifeless body was taken to the Aksa Martyrs' Hospital, where his brother, Jamil Salama, confirmed his death. He said, "Sheikh Salama's home was hit by heavy shelling this morning, which martyred him and wounded his family members."
